Painting for a group gallery show titled Permanent Collection in which each artist chose a piece from the MOMA collection to reinterpret. My choice was the Henri Rousseau painting The Sleeping Gypsy.

A selection of improvised rapidograph ink drawings executed between 2004 and 2008. They were created as an ongoing personal project during a time when I was doing a lot of book and other published work, and served as a counterpoint to the the much more deliberate and planned nature of my commissioned and collaborative freelance assignments. Two of the larger ones were published in BLAB! anthologies.
